Tea Room Commercial Design

I designed this space in Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District as a tea education room and cafe, for a client with strong ties to the community who wanted to focus on education and the community.

 

Here we have a stage with a massive bookcase along the back that holds all different kinds of teas, literature, and decor so attendees can get excited about what they are experiencing in the classroom.

 

The flexibility of the space means that events can be hosted other than tea education for local talent to perform in poetry readings, music, art, and more.

 

The cafe counter is where all of the preparation of counter-service items such as hot water, wine, and to-go-teas are prepared and sold to customers as well who are interested in popping in and enjoying one of their beverages during non-class times.
